Dear Families,
We received a threat at the building. We are treating this as any other threat and taking every precaution necessary. We are working with the Rochester Police Department and district officials to keep all students and staff safe. There is no reason students and staff should not feel safe to be in school tomorrow (Wednesday, January 11, 2012). We are encouraging students not to bring backpacks/bags, etc. to school tomorrow (Wednesday January 11, 2012). All backpacks/bags, etc. will be searched upon entry into school.Please speak with your child about this matter. If they have information regarding this threat, please contact a Century administrator.
We again wish to reiterate that there is no reason students should not feel safe to be in school on January 11, 2012.
