 Century High School's Advanced Placement Exam Registration

 

AP Testing is optional testing offered in May each year at Century High School for those students hoping to earn college credit by showing their proficiency in specific areas.  This is optional but recommended for students who are enrolled in an AP level class.  If you have questions regarding whether this testing applies to your student, please contact your student’s counselor for more information.

 

Students taking AP courses/exams at Century High School must enroll/register 11:59 pm, October 28, 2022. There is no cost for enrolling in AP courses, but the 2023 AP Exams cost $70 per exam.

AP Registration Deadline Approaching! Friday, November 6

 The registration deadline to pay for AP exams is coming up next Friday!

To avoid paying late fees, students must register and pay for exams by Friday, November 6.

For the 2021 AP exams, students at Century High School will be registering online. Registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access. This year the College Board has moved AP Registration and Payment to the Fall. It is important that you read and understand the new deadlines outlined below.

This year each AP exam costs $65.00. Century High School desires that every student be able to take their AP exams. Students who do NOT receive Free/Reduced Lunch but require financial assistance should contact Darren Couillard, dacouillard@rochester.k12.mn.us to learn more.

Students should visit https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/242092 to register. To complete registration, students must answer all of the required questions. Registration is not complete until students have printed the pdf of the confirmation page that is provided at the end. Please note: students must also register for their exams on the College Board website - join codes for doing so will be provided at the end of payment and also by students’ AP teachers.

Century High School is excited to offer families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. Paying online is a great way to make sure that payment has been made while avoiding mailing payment. We strongly recommend that parents and students are both present while registering to ensure that the correct exams are ordered.

Here are the important dates for the registration process:

●      Monday, Oct 5, 2020 - The registration and payment period begins for fall semester classes and year-long classes. Students taking spring semester-only classes will register next semester and will not incur a late fee.

●      Fri, Nov 6, 2020 at 11:59 PM - Registrations and payments after this date will incur a $40 late fee per exam.

●      Wed, November 11, 2020 - Last day to cancel an exam and receive a full refund.
